Your Healthy Eating Guide For Natural Remedies

Why does a site on natural remedies need a healthy eating guide?

Because what you choose to chew makes you well, keeps you healthy or it kills you. Plain and simple.

Wait a minute you say… Wars and disease kill plenty of folks but not my food!

Sadly, if you want to know what kills more people in America than any other single thing you can put down your history books, newspapers and turn off the nightly news.


You won’t find it there.

All you need to do is look down at your dinner plate!

Currently more than 1,200,000 people die EACH YEAR from diseases of lifestyle.

Yes, you heard me right.  You can avoid altogether or reverse these frightening and debilitating diseases just by changing up how you eat!

Honestly I don’t blame you if you’re sceptical. I sure was when I first heard all this.

  • Heart disease killed 599,413
  • Cancer killed 567,628
  • Diabetes killed 68,705

Yet no one seems to notice or care!

Imagine if that many of our troops were dying each year overseas. Do you think people would be outraged over it? Demanding that it stop?

Hell yes they would!

Let’s put that into perspective shall we? During the American Civil war (noted as the bloodiest war in American history) nearly three quarters of a million perished.

About the same number have been killed in all U.S. conflicts since that time, bringing the sad total to about 1,300,000 souls lost.

That’s a lot of deaths.

Every one of them regrettable. And we can argue later about whether they were avoidable.

But when you look at those CDC statistics and remember that almost an equal number of us die EACH YEAR because we don’t eat properly….?

It’s Obvious, We Desperately Need A Healthy Eating Guide And We Need It NOW!

The ancients understood this connection between your health and your food. About 2,500 years ago Hippocrates, noted as the father of modern medicine, wrote “Let Food Be Thy Medicine and Medicine Be Thy Food”.

It’s time we take this ancient wisdom to heart!

And you’d think we’d already done so with all the guru’s in magazines and on TV telling us to eat this way or eat that way. But what’s the best healthy eating guide to follow…?

  • Vegetarian?
  • Vegan?
  • Whole Food, Plant Based?
  • High Protein?
  • Low Carb?
  • Anti-Inflammatory?

The list goes on and on and on….

So, what makes this healthy eating guide different from the thousands of other folks out there telling you how to eat right?

I don’t!
Because, there is no “One Right Way” to eat.

(In fact anytime someone tells me they have found “The One Right Way” to do anything I run the other way as fast as I can and I suggest you do so too.)

As Dr Weil says in his excellent book Natural Health, Natural Medicine, “A particular diet may be right for you at this stage of your life, but it may not be right for me, and it may not be right for you a year from now.” (2)

A Healthy Eating Guide Gives YOU Control

Now before you start telling me that a healthy eating guide isn’t much good if you’re not going to tell me what to eat…

I would remind you that there is a difference between a guide and a list of rules.

The one helps YOU take charge of your health and the other removes your god given right to choose and simply tells you what to do.

“Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day.
Teach him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime!”

My aim is to help YOU to make informed decisions and put together a healthy eating plan that meets the needs of your body, both for the challenges it’s facing today AND for a lifetime of good health!
